Your Beautiful Eyes, Stare into My Eyes...

Hello Loviez,

What is the first thing a guy notices in a girl – EYES
When you talk to a colleague or your boss where do you stare at – EYES.
A frame can make or break a painting, in the same way eye brows frame a face. Eyelashes can open up eyes or they can make you look very droopy and not assertive.
Would you take a woman seriously who has unruly uncombed eyebrows, panda eyes and no color on the face. My first impression of that woman would be, she does not care about herself. If she does not care about her presentation how will she present herself at work or home?  First impression is the last impression. I can totally understand someone can also not be in good spirits, unwell or just likes it au natuarale. This is my personal opinion and its what I do on my face. I respect and understand every one's opinions and how they can look at things.
I am not saying us girls should spend hours in front of the mirror, and go to work or start our days by getting all dolled up. I am saying let’s be presentable.
Let’s be groomed. Let’s not look like we just woke up from bed, and ran to catch the bus or train.
When I was younger I would just wash my face, rub some lotion on my face, comb my eyebrows my one huge peeve and ran to school, however; now we are older. Let’s face it we cannot just get up wash up and run out the door. Age has blessed us with beauty which requires a little bit of attention to detail.  Hey if anyone of us can still do nothing and walk out and still look presentable well kudos to you. Again I talk for myself and I need something a little extra to look my 100% and to give my 100%.
OK so I get a ride to work. While my kids get dropped to school, daycare I have time to work on my face. This operation face takes place on the passenger seat. For this procedure I require my handy tools and products so for this reason I carry 2 makeup bags. I can hold one big one, but I prefer two medium sized makeup bags.  Lately I am obsessed with my Victoria Secret make up bags so those are the ones I carry. Before I leave for work, I sometimes will toss in a product or two in my bag so my makeup bags do need some organization every month. I do not fuss with my bags too much.

Today I will be talking about eyes, but let me know if you all want me to discuss my entire everyday make up routine.
So in today’s post you will see what I carry in my makeup bags specifically for eyes, and then I will discuss how I use the products. Also I will be discussing a couple of makeup looks depending on how I feel that particular morning. Mostly I am lazy and feeling cozy so I finish my eyes quickly in seconds, but other days I am more pumped and work a little bit extra on my eyes.

MAC 130 brush, Maybelline Super Stay 24hr Concealer, MAC paint pot - Painterly
I take the concealer and apply one stroke on my eyelid and one on my under eye circles. I then blend the concealer using the MAC 130 brush. If I am lazy I will use only this concealer, however; if I want to look glam I will apply MAC painterly paint pot on my eyelids after to really give my eyes a more even color.

Milani Brow Fix Kit, Sonia Kashuk L.E Fluffy brush, Smash Box angled Brow Brush
After the concealer is done for a lazy day I will go ahead and use the fluffy brush and apply the light brown eyeshadow on my crease. I will use the angled brow brush and apply the darkest brown shadow on my eyebrows focusing on the spots where my hair are scanty
For days where I want to look glam I will follow the same steps
MAC Brow Set- Show-Off
I comb my eye brows using the MAC brow set in show off which is a nice highlight for my eye brows. I will not do this if I am lazy. This is only for days when I am more in the mood to make an extra effort.
Sigma Blending Brush, Sonia Kashuk L.E Eyeshadow Brush, MAC 219 Pencil Brush
I will only use first brush on days of extra effort for eye shadow application, the Sonia Kashuk brush I use daily for highlight under my brows on lazy or good days, MAC pencil brush I also use daily
Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes Palette
On days I feel like making effort I apply the center nude color all over my eyelids using the sigma blending brush. It blends completely on my eyelid, leaving a slight sheen and then I will continue with the crease color from the Milani Brow kit.

Stila- In The Light Eye Shadow Palette
I use Stila Kitten eyeshadow from this pallet every single day for my eye brow highlight. I love the sheen it gives me. It is amazing for highlighting. Regardless of how I am feeling I will always use a matte chocolate brown eyeshadow to define my eye. I define my eye by using the MAC pencil brush and just going around the eyelash line on top and under my eyes.

MAC Black Track Fluid line, Milani Black Kajol Pencil, Loreal Eyeliner
On days I feel lazy I will skip this step , but other days I will either take the Milani pencil dip it in the fluid line and use it for my water line as a kajol OR I will use the Loreal eyeliner and line my upper eyelash line. I normally do not make a winged eyeliner line.

Maybelline Rocket Mascara
In the end I use a mascara. My mascaras keep changing a lot, and I am loving the rocket at the moment.
Ok everyone so that is it for the eyes. I hope this will help you. If you guys want a HOW TO for the eye routine well let me know and I can let you know about that.
I am posting a couple of pictures of my eyes just so that you all can get an idea.

Top two pictures are from a day when I felt like making a little more effort and the bottom two pictures are of the days when I was feeling blah and really lazy.

I hope you like this post. Do comment.
Love you all

    1. Honey do you like it? I find it gives a lot of volume BUT it's not my absolute favorite. I find I have to use it twice to really get the desired volume

    2. Yeah I do but you're right, maybe for night wear it leaves something to be desired but I use it for daytime mostly and it works well :)

    3. I agree for day time this is an amazing mascara, however I do have to apply layers of this to get an ideal dramatic effect...
